As expected, the Phillies activated reliever Jose Contreras from the disabled list, per csnphilly.com.  He will be able to pitch tonight if needed and could possibly close, depending on Ryan Madson’s availability.  Going forward though Madson should retain the closer’s role while the Big Truck sets up.
