September 25 Camden Courier-Post:
“Winston Justice spoke earlier this week about the firestorm coming at the Eagles’ offensive line.
He didn’t mean the defensive front of Sunday’s opponent, the Jacksonville Jaguars, but the criticism pointed at the front five after coach Andy Reid’s abrupt decision Tuesday to swap quarterbacks from Kevin Kolb to the more-mobile Michael Vick.
“The finger is always going be pointed at the offensive line,” Justice said. “We’re the first ones people are always going to fault.”
The patchwork line said this week that it must come together quickly before the offense can flourish. But linemen also deflected accusations that Kolb’s concussion and Reid’s subsequent change to Vick can be directly traced to a unit that has already allowed an NFL-most 11 sacks.”
