September 20 Philadelphia Inquirer:

“Quarterback Kevin Kolb and linebacker Stewart Bradley are expected to start Sunday at Jacksonville. Both received medical clearance to return to play Friday night from team doctors and an independent physician.

After sitting out practices all week with concussions, each participated in the team walk-through Saturday and ran some, head coach Andy Reid said.

Asked about the call to stick with Kolb after a strong showing Sunday by backup Michael Vick, Reid said the decision was “not hard at all.”

Vick will still have a role on the team, though.

“You saw the last game. It wasn’t going to be a five- or six-play-a-game thing,” Reid said. “We’ve incorporated him in there with more than the way we had last year. He’ll still have opportunities to make plays.””
