October 2 Camden Courier-Post:
“The demotion that didn’t become a hot topic among bar patrons and sports-talk radio callers when the announcement came down four weeks ago is suddenly worth reflection.
Time didn’t stand still when the Eagles bumped left defensive end Juqua Parker down the depth chart and replaced him with rookie Brandon Graham, a first-round pick out of Michigan.
Compared to the polarizing Kevin Kolb-Michael Vick switcheroo recently pulled by coach Andy Reid, the Parker-Graham see-saw barely registered a blip on the radar.
But now that Parker is leading the Eagles with four sacks, with at least one in all three games, and in the midst of his most consistent stretch of pass rushing since he joined the team in 2005, it’s become a relevant coincidence.”
