The Eagles look to right the ship today as they travel to Washington to take on the Redskins. At 1-4, this game is as much a must win as any you’ll see. Failure means a 1-5 record heading into the bye week, a situation no one, from the front office to the coaches to the players to the fans ever expected.
While it’s highly unlikely here, the NFL is known to look to the bye week to make major changes, especially at head coach. Could another crushing loss cause the impossible?
— Winston Justice will see the field for the first time this season. He gets the start at right tackle.
— King Dunlap is out with back spasms. He had been playing in place of Jason Peters, who is out with a hamstring injury. Todd Herremans will move over from the right side to start at left tackle.
— Kurt Coleman is back in the starting lineup, this time at strong safety. Former starter Jarred Page was benched and won’t even be active. That means Temple rookie Jaiquawn Jarrett will be have a chance to see some action.
