by Justin Adkins:
Eagles head coach Andy Reid has announced that cornerback Asante Samuel (concussion), quarterback Michael Vick (ribs), and wide receiver Riley Cooper (concussion) are officially listed as out for this Sunday’s game against the 49ers.
Someone who should play is running back LeSean McCoy (cracked rib), who returned to practice Friday. McCoy is coming off a cracked rib suffered in last week’s loss to the Redskins.
Reid said he expects McCoy to play a “full game.”
With the injury to Cooper leaving the Eagles thin at wide receiver, Reid said that practice squad player Chad Hall will make the trip to San Francisco, but an official move has not yet been announced.
Joselio Hanson will start in Samuel’s place, with Dmitri Patterson sliding into the nickel role.
In other injury news, right guard Nick Cole (knee) should be active, though Max Jean-Gilles will get the start.
The Eagles play the 49ers on Sunday Night Football.
