Sorry, should have been more specific. It's the one in Florida.

11-0 and 17 straight wins for the #1 program on the planet. 1 more game against American U until conference play starts on the 28th. Let's get it!

Jay Wright is a charismatic, smooth, well dressed, and a first ballot hall of fame coach. Oh and a world champion. The Pat Riley of college basketball.

But Philly "loves blue collar philly guys" so frumpy 2nd rate losers like "Fran" and "Phil" are loved. then they choke and go 0 for 1,943 in the tourney. but hey at least Dick Jerardi likes those "stand up" guys

So, another Jay Wright-coached Villanova team chokes, again. Back to your regular programming.

He's now tied with Coach K with the most losses in the opening weekend as a top 2 seed. Coach K has also been at Duke since 1980 whereas Wright has been at Nova since '01. Plenty of excuses to make but Wright's definitely going to set some kind of unreachable record for most exits in the opening weekend.

Next years team looks to be pretty awesome, especially if Jordan Tucker commits. Guards should be Brunson, Booth, Divicenzo & Tucker with the forwards being Bridges, Spellman, Paschall, Samuels and Cosby-Roundtree. If that's the team next year they will win the championship.

Are any of these players/recruits elite bigs? Because it sure seems that Jay Wright is allergic to recruiting them.

Seems like every year except 2016, they get knocked off in the Big East tourney or the NCAA's because they have a bad shooting stretch for like 7 minutes and they get killed on the boards.
