USA Tomahawks rugbyWHO/WHAT: The battle to secure the final spot for the 2013 Rugby League World Cup concludes Sunday in a winner-take-all match between the 15th ranked USA Tomahawks and 24th ranked Jamaica. The USA Tomahawks are trying to make history and qualify for the Rugby League World Cup for the first time. Tomahawk teammates Andrew Kneisly of West Chester and Michael Garvey of Haddonfield will be available for pre and post-game interviews along with the rest of the players and coaches.

Sunday will also be Military Appreciation Day at Campbell’s Field as the USA Tomahawks honor U.S. Military men and women during a number of pre-game and halftime festivities. Among the highlights is a military escort to the stadium for the teams, the Honor Guard performing the National Anthem and a swearing-in ceremony for new recruits. In addition, the Tomahawks will wear commemorative camouflage jerseys and military officials will serve as honorary captains for the game.

Finally, during a special halftime ceremony, Wish Upon a Hero in conjunction with Iraq War Veteran Troy Yocum, will grant wishes for six military families. Wish Upon a Hero, the world’s largest online social helping network, has partnered with Yocum who recently completed a 7,800-mile hike across America raising awareness and $1 million in funds for military families in need.

The Match is scheduled to begin at 2:00pm at Campbell’s Field in Camden, NJ. The gates will open at 12:00pm. Tickets for adults are $15 at the gate, or $10 in advance.
