The Phillies have announced the opening of voting for the 2011 Wall of Fame candidates. From the team:
Once again in 2011, fans will have a voice in which former player, coach or manager is selected to the Phillies Wall of Fame this year. Voting is underway and ends at 5 p.m. ET on Tuesday, March 15.
Fans can select their top three choices from a 12-man ballot of Phillies alumni. A first place vote is worth five points, second place three points and third place one point. The top five fan consensus choices as determined by total points will serve as the official ballot for a special Wall of Fame Selection Committee that will choose this year’s inductee.
Induction Day – Induction ceremonies at Citizens Bank Park are set for August 12, prior to the 7:05 p.m. game against the Nationals. A 14″x20″ cast bronze plaque will be added to the Toyota Wall of Fame display located in the Memory Lane section of Ashburn Alley.
The following day, August 13, is Phillies Alumni Night in which former players living in the tri-state area will be introduced pre-game.
Candidates for induction are:

Maybe they should just re-honor the actual Hall of Famers already on the Wall?
No word on if the Dude will be hiring his own escort to the induction ceremony…
