“Seattle Mariners pitcher Cliff Lee had a phenomenal postseason run with the Philadelphia Phillies last year and there are more than a few teams that are hoping he can do the same for them this year. Unfortunately, for the M’s, it’s not looking like they are on that list with a 33-44 record that puts them dead last in the American League West, 14 games back.

Since Lee’s contract ends when the season does this year, he is very likely to be traded. The Phillies, New York Yankees, New York Mets, and Texas Rangers scouted him when he pitched against the Yanks the other night, according to FOXSports, while two other reported suitors, the Los Angeles Dodgers and Minnesota Twins, were absent that night.”
