May 17

ST. LOUIS — A road trip that started with promise for the Phillies back in Florida last week is coming to a frustrating conclusion after two straight losses in Atlanta and another one in St. Louis on Monday night.  Left-hander Cliff Lee walked a career-high six in 6 1/3 innings, and the Cardinals took advantage in handing the Phillies their third consecutive defeat, a 3-1 loss at Busch Stadium.
