Ryan Howard, Raul Ibanez and Carlos Ruiz are not in the starting lineup. Howard is out with some heel bursitis and is listed as day to day.

Jimmy Rollins goes on DL with groin strain

August 23 Courier-Post

Phillies shortstop Jimmy Rollins has been placed on the 15-day disabled list with a groin strain, and All-Star third baseman Placido Polanco has been activated from the DL.  The moves were made before the major league-leading Phillies opened a three-game series against the New York Mets on Monday night.  Rollins strained his right groin in a loss at Washington on Sunday. The former NL MVP had never been on the DL before 2008, but this is his fourth stint in four years.
