The Sixers have made it official with No. 2 overall pick Evan Turner, signing the Ohio State product to a contract today, GM Ed Stefanski announced.
His contract will call for $3,835,600 minimum in first year compensation and $4,123,200 in the second year. If the Sixers pick up his third year option, he can make up to $4,410,900. The total 3 year value could be $12,369,700.
Turner, 21, is expected to start at shooting guard from day one.
