“In a little over two months, the 76ers will open the 2010-11 season against the NBA’s new must-see team: the Miami Heat.

The Sixers, who have made their own changes this off-season, will play Miami at the Wells Fargo Center – formerly the Wachovia Center – on Oct. 27.

The NBA released each team’s regular-season schedule on Tuesday. October’s season opener will be Miami’s only trip to Philadelphia. After a sizzling off-season, the Heat, featuring superstars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh, have become the NBA’s rock-star squad.

The Sixers boast new head coach Doug Collins and rookie Evan Turner, as well as recently acquired center Spencer Hawes and forward Andres Nocioni, currently rehabbing a sprained ankle.”
