Sixers may not find help in mediocre draft

June 19 Camden Courier-Post:

For months, the upcoming NBA Draft has been described as devoid of franchise players.  For the Sixers, a mediocre team drafting in the middle of the first round, the prospect of finding an impact big man or perimeter scorer seems remote at best.  Even players who are projected to be in the Sixers’ range at No. 16, such as Kansas forward Markieff Morris, Florida State’s Chris Singleton and Southern Cal’s Nikola Vucevic, have flaws in their games.

Temple’s Allen to work out for Sixers again

June 18 CSN Philly:

The 76ers will hold another pre-draft workout on Sunday, with Temple’s Lavoy Allen set to make his second appearance at PCOM this spring.  Joining Allen will be Josh Harrellson (Kentucky), DeAndre Liggins (Kentucky) and E’Twaun Moore (Purdue).  Lavoy Allen (6-9, 225, Temple)

Versatile Honeycutt could help Sixers’ defense

June 17 CSN Philly:

Tyler Honeycutt walked away from his conversation with the media Wednesday after his 10th pre-draft workout and threw down a ferocious dunk.  The 6-foot-8 wing player, it appeared, wanted to make a lasting impression. Considering it is the lone basketball move we’ve seen from a potential draft pick during a visit, he accomplished his mission.
