The Eagles have announced the signing of veteran wide receiver Kelley Washington.

Washington, 30, was a third-round pick of the Bengals in the 2003 NFL Draft.

The 6-3, 217 pounder spent last season with the Baltimore Ravens, posting career highs in catches (34) and yardage (431).  For his career Washington has 107 career receptions for 1,327 yards and 11 touchdowns.

If Washington makes the team, the Eagles will most likely use him on Special Teams, where he has contributed competently in the past.

UPDATE:  To make room for Washington, the Eagles released undrafted free agent wide receiver Jared Perry.
