Flyers forward Claude Giroux scores against the Capitals

After the Flyers hot start, they looked a bit off in Thursday night’s 5-2 loss to the Washington Capitals.  It’s obviously way early but the defeat has caused a little unrest, especially under the brighter spotlight caused by no Phillies playoff games, the Eagles being on a bye, and no Sixers at all.

Here’s a sampling of some recent/active threads from the PSC Flyers message board, including the first post of each.  Click the title to check out each one…

Thread: As usual. I was right.

Last night is a pure example of why coach flip needs to be listened to, and not coach JRoll. To accommodate coach JRoll, the flyers ****ed up the chemistry of all of the lines. (coming into a game against an undefeated team). To accommodate FliP.. It only only would have screwed up line 4. The team looked sloppy last night. Couts looked slow. Why? Because he was lost.
